Welcome To The Traveling Turtles!!

Hey travelers, your probably wondering who the heck are the Traveling Turtles?! I don't blame you, so I figured the best thing was to do would be to start by introducing ourselves and who exactly the Traveling Turtles are.

The Traveling Turtles is made up by Bre (the one normally doing the writing) and Ads (the proofreader that makes sure it wasn't all rambling) we met during the pandemic online. A friendship that blossomed into a unexpected relationship, with only one downfall. Ad's lived in London, England, and me well I lived in a small town in New Hampshire, USA. With roughly 3,255 miles between us and a global pandemic halting travel it made the beginning of our relationship everything but conventional. The same thought I'm sure 99% of the people around us ran through their heads ran through ours aswell. How the hell is this going to work?! Well almost 2 years later and we are still here. Instead of putting our lives on hold while trying not to think about the fact we live on 2 different continents. We decided why not travel together when we can. Both of us dream of visiting many different places and experiencing different cultures, and from there the Traveling Turtles was born.

Now that you know a bit about us as a couple, let me explain a little bit about us personally. *waves* I'm Bre, I'm 28 years old from a very small town in New Hampshire. One of those small towns everyone else travels too in order to capture the beauty of it. Though as a local I tend to take for granted on a daily. I come from a small Italian family, my great grandparents actual immigrated to America back in their day. I'm a wicked foodie and a dog mama to Tank an English Bulldog and Gryffindor an English Mastiff. If you didn't pick it up already I'm also a Harry Potter lover, maybe I was just destined to fall in love with a brit.

Then there is Ads, he is 29 years old from London. Though born and raised in London his Moroccan heritage ran strong through his upbringing. This allowed him to start traveling at a

young age. Through traveling he realized he really enjoyed the history behind the sights he was seeing and the nature that came with that destination. Also being a foodie he loved tasting the cuisine in his travels. On top of traveling he also loves Disney, especially mickey mouse. Making Disney a destination we have planned for the future.

I hope this gave you some insight to who we are and what makes the Traveling Turtles. On top of having the blog, where we can post more in-depth about the places we've been and food we've eaten.
